Are paid subscriptions available?
No. If you are (potentially) running into the request limits please contact us to increase your subscription limits and set a soft limit.
Can I download the data shown in a chart?
Yes, when you register an account you automatically have a free subscription which allows downloading chart data as CSV with a monthly download limit.
Can I get access to the chart data?
You can access the chart data through the API. You need a free API subscription to make requests. Signup for API access.
Can I hide the sites ads?
You can hide the ads using a browser with an ad-blocker or logging into an account with increased subscription tier.
Can I invalidate old Google Spreadsheet import URLs?
Google Spreadsheet imports remain active until you reset your spreadsheet token. To reset your spreadsheet token login to your account and go the the Settings page, at the bottom your can reset your token.
Can I upgrade my free subscription?
Paid subscriptions are discontinued, but if you are in need of higher request limits let us know and we can upgrade your account.
Can I use the API in my commercial project?
Yes, you can use the API's data and the downloaded data in any type of project, including but not limited to: commercial, educational, financial and personal.
Do you accept donations?
No, the site is supported by advertisement.
How can I import data directly into Google Spreadsheets?
Copy the Google Spreadsheet IMPORTDATA line shown below charts into a cell in Google Spreadsheet. Note that imports count towards your download limit.
How is sentiment determined?
Sentiment is determined on moving averages, when a short term moving average is above a long term moving average the trend is bullish, when the long term is above the short term the trend is bearish. Undecided when the values are close to each other.
I did not receive my accounts confirmation, what do I do?
Check your spam folder if it ended up there, if it did not you can request a new confirmation mail 5 minutes your account registration. Request new account confirmation mail..
Is fake volume filtered out?
No, since it is very hard to determine what part of the reported volume from exchanges is fake. The reported volume by some exchanges is not fully considered.
What are the available data types
The available data types to use in charts or retrieve the data for are:
- Price - The crypto price in the provided fiat currency, can be used to compare cryptocurrency prices
- Price daily change - The crypto price change on a day earlier
- Return on investment - Crypto price change from the provided start date until the end date
- Price and sentiment - Crypto price and the market sentiment based on the MACD in one chart/graph
- Market cap - Crypto price multiplied by its supply in the provided fiat currency
- Market cap daily change - The daily change to market cap
- Market cap growth - The cumulative daily change to market cap from the provided start date until the end provided end date
- Rank based on market cap - The rank of the cryptocurrency based on its market cap
- Trade volume - The trading volume reported by exchanges for the crypto currency
- Trade volume daily change - The trading volume daily change
- Trade volume growth - The trading volume cumulative daily change from the provided start date until the end provided end date
- Trade health - The percentage of the crypto's market cap traded on the date, too low could indicate unreliable crypto price data, too high could indicate wash trading
- Supply of coins - The number of coins of the crypto in circulation
- Supply of coins - The number of coins of the crypto in circulation
What is a hard or soft API request limit?
The number of API requests are limited. A hard limit prevents you from making API requests above the request limit. If you require a soft limit please contact us to get your access upgraded.
What is the difference between a chart and a graph?
A chart is a graphical representation of a chart, a graph is a diagram of data, their definition largely overlap. On this site the terms are used interchangeably.

The data is extracted from exchange API's, the following exchanges are being queried:

What is trade health?
Trade health is the percentage of the market cap that is traded daily. It is an indication of how actively a coin is traded.
Why is coin X not listed?
It might not be traded on any of the supported exchanges or just not have been added, you can request a coin to be added here.
Why is exchange X not included as source?
